What I have been looking for!! July 16, 2009 E. Lamb (The Biggest Little City) I had ordered this and received today from Bed, Bath & Beyond. It is beautiful and solid. I wasn't sure after reading the reviews how sturdy it would be and was prepared to make a trip to Home Depot for hardware. But the hardware that came with this unit was far superior. It was built in 10 mins with no issues. I have the table flat so it does not tilt since I have a larger desktop replacement laptop. And I used a small soft towel under the fan of my laptop so not to scratch up the finish. My only complaint is the table is not a little longer. Would had liked to have room for my Belkin N52te. :)
nice strong table but finish a little delicate August 7, 2007 S. Pena (New Jersey) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is a nice table but the finish is not the best. It gets damaged easily. Also it seems a little unstable it could probably use a fourth extension in leg to stabilize. I like that it is solid wood not that cardboard stuff you usually get.

I am very happy with this product. One should be aware that the retainer rail on the leading edge of the table top can interfere with cables and cords connecting the the rear of a laptop and to switches and volume control on the leading edge of the laptop's keyboard. Other than that, a quality product and quite sturdy. The tilt knob is cheap and broke on the 3rd time I tightened it, but it still holds the table at the tilt I want.
Nice appearance, inferior hardware September 4, 2007 Tom Tuell (Florida Keys) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
Attractive and functional, I like the wood construction far more than metal and plastic. However, the hardware for adjusting the table angle is so inferior that it is certain to break within a day or two. It is fairly easy to replace with hardware from Home Depot or similar store (a little re-engineering is required), but it's annoying that you have to do so. I'd rather pay a few dollars more to get a product that I don't have to rebuild.

The laptop table is okay for low usage; however, it is not conducive to daily use. For me, the table is too small because I conduct a great deal of class work, each day. I would recommend it for low usage laptop users.
