A good product July 26, 2009 Nya D. Taylor (Omaha, NE) I got this for my laptop and the portabook kept it cool to prevent overheating. To me, I felt that it was sturdy enough for my 13" inch system, but I guess it would depend on the size. Overall, a good product.
Love it... for the price I paid December 31, 2009 S. Quon This thing does what I need it to do, hold up my 14 inch laptop. I was about to pay $100 for the laptop laidback, good thing i held out cause i picked this up for 1/4 of the retail price at a local store. The elastic band has good tension, it prevents my laptop from slipping. And I guess I was lucky that I dont have anything to plug at the end of the laptop, nothing is blocked for me.
I also have it sitting on my lap right now and I must say it's pretty comfortable. When I had my laptop on my thighs my legs were always bent at the knees, eventually they'd get tired and numb. My legs are actually straight for once and I'm loving it! The portabook is very lightweight, the heat of the laptop is not burning my lap and it's angled nicely for me to type this review.
My only beef with this product now is the cheap plastic. Although it's not buckling under my laptop, I really don't know how long it will last. Especially if you keep taking it apart, I can see the plastic part that bends at an angle, eventually wearing out. But then again, it's the plastic that's making this thing so light on my lap.
This things serves it's purpose for me. I might pick up a few more in case this breaks down in future.

Products are functioning as advertised. The metal Rolodex stand is surprisingly effective at dissipating high heat generated by my laptop.
Perfect portable laptop stand! October 7, 2008 Sheri De Rosso 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Finally there is a lightweight, portable laptop bookstand. I take it everywhere! It helps avoid back and neck strain associated with incorrect posture also. The elastic bands have adjustable tension positions and hold my computer from sliding and I've used it to hold open books for studying. It's Great!!!
I love this so much I have 2! November 16, 2008 Noef (San Francisco Bay Area, CA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I first bought one of these on clearance. When I finally began using it, I knew I needed two of them. I use them to hold up text books while studying or doing homework. Actually my children use them. I homeschool and they each needed one, especially for those large math books.
