Product Description The Coleman Pack-Away Table for 2 is a stowable, portable picnic table. Super easy to transport, and weighing in at a scant 15 pounds, this three-piece table lets you cook up a meal and comfortably enjoy lunch around camp. Coleman constructed the Pack-Away with two stools that double as storage racks, and a lightweight aluminum frame and top that double as a storage case for the stools. Raise or lower the table height to accommodate chopping and fireside cooking. This compact, foldable setup automatically locks into place when opened.

Nearly Perfect! August 21, 2008 Andynator (Logan County, OH USA) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
This is a very nice and handy table!
I purchased this unit to load on top of my vehicle and use for tent camping. To that end, it works extremely well. Folded shut with the stools enclosed, it is only 4 inches thick, and that is a big plus. There are two swinging metal latches to hold it shut, and suitcase-style handles on the outside to carry it.
When you open and unfold the table, there are assembly instructions printed on the underside, which is a nice touch. The aluminum stools are lightweight and fold up and down easily. The stools are not heavy-duty, but they support my 180 pounds evenly.
The table can be used as-is but also has two leg extensions to raise the height up to 25 1/2 inches. The leg extensions are also stored inside the table, and secured with spring clips.
A few cautions: this unit is not 100% aluminum; some of the clips, latches, rivets etc are steel and will rust if left outside or exposed to heavy dew. The major components are aluminum to reduce weight. The leg extensions and stools have plastic caps in the ends of the extruded aluminum tubing; the base table legs do not. The base table legs (that the extensions fit into) have slightly rough edges which may snag or tear your tent floor, so check this carefully before setting up inside your tent.
When my table is open and set up, the table top is not completely level - it peaks or "tents" just slightly in the middle, at the seam; but this is not a deal breaker.
I recommend this unit for light travel camping.
Great Table! October 14, 2009 C. King (Lemon Grove, CA) I did alot of research before finding/purchasing the Coleman Packaway Table.
So many times you purchase something thinking it's exactly what you need and low and behold, it doesn't work out for one reason or another. This table worked our perfect for our camping needs. When setting up your table and folding it to put it away, the legs seem a little fragile (so be careful). However once table is up...it's great. So easy to set up. The little chairs/stools are great. I was surprised they were so strong. When not sitting on them, we scoot them over to our camp lounging chairs and use them for a foot rest. I am totally happy I made this purchase. Thanks Coleman for another good camping product!
Great October 15, 2009 Bear (California) The table storage is great. I use it for my RC car. When I go to race, I am the only one with a table and chair to work on my car. It works great!
Love this table December 19, 2009 Kit Miller (PA) Perfect in the "screen" area of the tent to just come in and drop you keys off at, just like at home. Sturdy for what we needed it for and I have used the 2 stools for other things away from the table. They are plenty sturdy for a 215 lb man to sit for for meals and tending the fire. Stools also make great TV trays, night stand for chairside table for drinks. Worth my money for sure.
Portable, Packable, and Sturdy March 13, 2010 Kevin M. Munn (Phoenix, AZ) I liked this set so much and it is so portable and easy to pack that I have purchased two. It is surprisingly sturdy for my + 200 lbs. It packs down small and is easy to carry. The stools can be used as side tables or other handy tables around camp helping to keep things off the ground. The bottoms are made such that they do not poke holes in my tent floor. I would even like to get another set before they get all bought out. Time to get back on Amazon.
