I was extremely pleased at how quickly this item arrived given the other review. The dark wood is quite attractive and makes it look much more expensive than it is. The product comes fully assembled which is handy. My only negative is that the base of the tray is much thinner than I expected--really just a piece of plywood surrounded by a thicker frame. Thus, while I don't feel too nervous using it as a breakfast tray or in-bed work station, I'm careful not too carry it around too heavily loaded. Nonetheless, the price was great for a nice-looking, functional piece.

The product arrived in a decent condition (few nicks and scratches).
Pros:
Functionally it is stable. Glad that it did not require any assembly. Its just been 2 days since I started using it so wont be able to tell about its long time performance just yet. Overall the tray is sturdy.
Cons:
It isnt super value for the money though. I would have liked for it to be around 25$ including shipping

I ordered these trays as a gift well before I needed to give them...well it turns out that didn't matter. I ordered them, my credit card was charged, I was sent a shipping notice (without a tracking number).....but yet they never came. I waited until a day or two after they were supposed to be here and then emailed the company. They emailed me back and told me the trays were backordered until mid-April! So my card was charged, they told me they shipped, and then when I questioned them, I was told they were backordered! I cancelled my order immediately. They were prompt with my refund, and for that I was thankful.

I have been shopping through Amazon for 10 years now and this is the most dissatisfied I've been with a third party merchant. I made sure to purchase this item early for a surprise I had planned for my wife, a month and a half early to be exact. Not only was I charged a ridiculous $10.00 shipping fee but this item never arrived!!! Amazon gave me a full refund of course but I am still very disappointed in the lack of service I received from this merchant which was a huge shock considering it is a successful brick and mortar chain .
